Craze and functionalityI bought this purifier with hopes of minimizing my allergies without sacrificing hiatus or style. I have had it for about 6 months now, and I have no complaints. Setting it up was simple: the instructions for inserting the filters are straightforward, and I had it up and on-going in less than 15 minutes. I run it continuously, and there are multiple aspects of the SPA-780A that I love: (1) it's foolish and compact, which is great for apartments; (2) it's very intuitive and easy to use; (3) it looks illustrious, unlike some other clunky purifiers; (4) it's energy efficient.
It makes almost no noise unless it is functioning at its extreme input/output. I rarely ever notice it, especially if the TV or stereo is on or someone is talking. I generally only understand that its working by looking at the air quality indicator, which emits light of a particular color depending on the characteristic of the air at the time.
The purifier is easy to move from room-to-room. I sometimes move it from the living room during the day to my bedroom at sundown. It's not very heavy, and it has a handle on the back that allows you to move it with one hand easily. Because it has a modern and stylish look, it can question add more character to a room rather than detract from it. Although I rarely have the mood lighting on (supposedly it's mentally balsamic, but I'm unconvinced), it does turn into an interesting conversation piece when guests come over. Several populace have asked me what it is and commented on how quiet it is and how nice it looks. It's also great that it includes a light sensor, specifically if you are keeping it in the bedroom where you sleep. After the lights go out, it becomes virtually unnoticeable (aside from a small rural power light) after a few minutes. I haven't tried wall mounting it.
I purchased it with the pet filters because I have a cat. I can't say that it has cured my allergies, but I have multiple allergies (e.g., pet dander, pollen, dust mites), so I didn't ahead to a miracle. I think it has improved them though. After I wake up, my congestion clears more rapidly than it did before I got the purifier, and I sternutate less throughout the day. It also helps clear my place of pet, cooking, and other odors. After coming from outside, my place smells newfangled and clean.
Operational, Stylish and Modern Air Purifier
Air purifiers have thrive a long way in terms of design and technology. I've gone thru the simple HEPA filters, charcoal separate, UV bulbs, electrostatic ionizers, washable collector cells, and controversial ozone emitting products.
Now I'm down to two in my domestic one of which is the RabbitAir MinusA2 air purifier. I love it's stylish design that doesn't look humdrum, kitschy, or even gimmicky. I can place it in any part of my home and it doesn't look like an eyesore.
PROS:
1. Layout - slim and modern
2. Controls - chrome-like buttons all laid out on one side
3. Remote - a inadequate plastic remote emulating all the chrome buttons on the unit that is especially useful if you settle on to hang the unit on a wall
4. Mood Light / Night Light - a horizontal to the buff of light in the front of the unit which contributes to the ambiance in the home.
5. Technology -
a. Silver Ion Pre-Filter - washable pass through similar to A/C units with a fine mesh weave that capture large dust
particles. RabbitAir goes one walk further by coating it with silver ions which have been proven to retard or even eliminate bacteria growth.
b. Defiant-Bacterial Medium Filter - which appears to be a blue cotton filter and captures finer dust particles, pollen, yeast and bacteria.
c. BioGS HEPA filter - (technology found on the previous BioGS models) and captures even more of the above extra fungus, dust mites, odours, smoke and greenhouse gases.
d. Customized Trickle - another stage in filtration to specifically tailor to your choice of "Germ Defense", "Pet Allergy" and "Toxin Absorber".
e. Charcoal Based Activated Carbon Separate - the final stage in filtration in an old reliable charcoal filtration method that helps keep amused more odours and toxins.
All of the above filters are housed in a relatively sturdy filter case which helps arrange and arrange these for easy removal and replacement.
f. Negative Ion Generator - which further helps purify the air by clinging to suspended particles that sanctuary't passed thru the filter and essentially making them fall to the floor rather than float around.

d. Easy front panel removal - no clumsy clips here. Elegant magnet on the bottom and a simple latch on top to help easy pre-filter cleaning and filter replacement.
CONS:
My gripe is the filter replacement charge. As of this writing the marketing of the filter can last "up to two years". If you further read the manual and manufacturer FAQ, this of course means operating the item non-continuously at only 12 hours a day. But RabbitAir has stated this on their website FAQ:

Which means under "ordinary use" then filter life is really good for a year. Replacement cost then amounts to $75 a year plus shipping and taxes, where apropos. I would have preferred the manufacturers offer discounted filter service and free shipping Perceptive that loyal customers will be replacing their filters anyway at this predictable time frame.
Throw us a prepare and make it more convenient so we won't go looking for other air purifiers down the road.
OVERALL:
I would recommend this product with it's higher supremacy manufacturing and design that sets it apart from other air purifiers. Are the air filters with it's multi-stage circumlocutory layers gimmicky? I don't know. Independent reviews and studies (not provided by the manufacturer) will certify in time. And it does beat simple one-layer filters of other machines, well, at a higher bonus to pay.
Of course, air purifier manufacturers will tell you that "there is no price to pay for your health". Well there certainly is a price to pay for buying these purifiers and if RabbitAir can recondition their product filter replacement cost down the road and independent studies can prove the scene of their filters, then we definitely have a winner in the MinusA2 model.
As for which model to buy - SPA-780A or SPA-700A. I can only say that they are word for word the same on the outside as well as filter replacement parts. This is my 2nd Rabbit Air MinusA2. My first Rabbit air runs at fan fly like the wind lvl 3 non stop for one year already and it's still running well just like new(of course I do change filter after 1 yr). Why I don't pick up other tag? Because it is Small, Powerful, Quiet, Beautiful, Reliable, Efficient and it does make the air in my chamber so clean, lots of my friends come to my place they can tell the difference; and already 3 of them pick up Rabbit Air MinusA2 after they saw it. A lot merit purifier out there and I believe most of the high end purifier they all perform well, but they are all in HUGE size.
If you want a celebrated purifier also care about the look in your room, you will be happy with Rabbit Air MinusA2, no matter you settle upon the black or white one.

My son is allergic to dust mites. About 2 weeks after we got MinusA2 SPA-780A we noticed that his nose excess numbers in the morning is no longer there. The only thing i do not like is that silent or auto mode.

Exertion nicely... Slighty noisey.Rabbit air purifier is very silken and seems to work great. Whenever I smoke, the light sensor changes color to red (poor air nobility) and starts working hard. After little while, the light changes and the fan slows down. Air quality repair is undeniable. It is slgihtly bigger and noiser than I expected.
Highly recommended for smokers.
Even well-advised b wealthier than expected
I loved the first one so much I bought two more. Requirement I say more?
I have one of these units in my home office, where laser toner dust, paper dust, cat and dog ringlets and other 'pollutants' make the air pretty nasty. Now that I have this unit in the office, those problems are GONE. I be gone it running on Silent during office hours (and it really is virtually silent), and I set it to Turbo when I adieu to the office. The air stays fresh all day, and in the mornings the office smells like mountain air. I look patronize to coming into the office now.
I've had other air cleaners in the past, electrostatic and HEPA, but they didn't come close to freshening the air like this one does.
Tremendously recommended.
Seems to do the job
We first of all run this during May/June when we seem to have the most problems with Allergies. By running it in our bedroom it seems to help and let us get a better night of idleness. The mood lighting setup is a bit annoying, but hasn't bothered us too much. The nice feature is the reflex setting that let's the unit vary the running speed based on conditions in the room. All-embracing a very quiet unit which makes it great for the bedroom. I would recommend this to others and am considering getting a bat of an eye unit.
Not counting, quiet, good quality
In appendix to doing a good job cleaning the air, I also was looking for a purifier that would be very quiet. This Rabbit Air is really inactive. I don't have a way to measure air quality, but the air sure smells cleaner. I noticed a few times when I broil something the air importance light will change indicating the air needs further cleaning; so I guess that is a good sign.
The constituent looks very well made and is very stylish.
So far as cost, I would rank it very good. The initial cost of the unit and replacement filters is very fair.
I called their support line with some questions and they were very helpful. They answered the call right away (no holding).
The extent is rated at 700 sq ft, but I have read that if you have allergies you should cut that number in half.

looks stupendous (although the "mood light" is a stupid marketing gimmick in my judgement) and functions really well. in really so well that i barely need to dust my apartment at all each week (and i have very high standards for that since i have severe allergies). only downside i can contemplate of other than the price is that when it's dead quiet sometimes you can hear a very faint high pitched squeaking riskless. maybe some wd-40 would fix that, but it hasn't bothered me enough to look into it...

I figured that if I was to construct one – it would end up costing about as much as the JDS prototype, but will not have the same filtration status, it’ll be heavier (wood structure as opposed to metal figure mood), and it’ll take me in days of yore to construct it. on occasion that could be acclimatized to develop intensify woodworking projects. age that I not at all have as of time.
