Most beneficent for kitchen floor grout!!
I've tried many products for my Brobdingnagian area of ceramic tile. PINK grout, no less. Of course it has been an ugly brown for a hunger time. I sprayed grout cleaner on the grout, charged up the cordless scrubber, and the grout was unsullied in seconds. One thing I noticed about past reviews of this product was that it would not stay locked to keep the touch disregard in one position. This is unfortunately true, unless you scrub side to side. If you try to push it back and forth, it does unlock itself. Also, I had a zealously time finding it locally. I called Black and Decker to try to find out where I could buy this, as Menards no longer carries it, and another reviewer said they saw it cheaper there. Black and Decker say they have discontinued this filler, so if you want to order it, do it now on Amazon where it is still available. We also used it on our deck to get the sap and dirt off, and it worked well, as extensive as I went side to side.

I like using it on my car with the softer engagement and with the harder brush on the house, windows concrete.
Only issue with the unit is the locking mechanism on the pivot ball won't lock so the ball pivot annoyingly will swing away from the viewpoint your using it at and believe this is why it was discontinued but still sold till there all gone so I got mine for a lot less then retail and still worth it.
Functional tool
Blanket I like this machine. My reason for buying it was to keep my RV clean, I used to have a hand held Scumbuster (discontinued) and a steps, which was not a great combo on uneven ground. With the Scrubber I can stay on the ground and reach the top sidle of my fiver. With just the power head attached it is well balanced and almost perfect for cleaning my connection roof, add one extention and it is starting to feel unwealdy, add both extentions and it becomes clumsy but usable. I over it is well made, the parts screw together easily and securely and feel robust. I was a bit disapointed with the rotational belt along, but spinning an 8" brush any faster at the end of a 14 ft pole would probably make it very perplexing to keep in place, perfection would be an adjustable speed model with two contra rotating heads, but the fetch would be much higher. (I am a busted up old guy, otherwise I would use a long brush) I have yet to find a polishing bonnet to fit which would be a very useful accessory. The storage bag is not absolutely long enough, an all to common practise these days, the bean counters saved 2 cents. B&D makes some scrap and some well engineered tools, this one is in the latter category.
B&D Cordless Power Scrubber
This by-product does everything it says it does. It was purchased to wash an RV including the roof. Made it easier. I did find it a not enough hard to handle when extended the full 14'. Just took a little practice to put in order to it. I'd recommend it!!!!

Do handheld steam cleaners work?
Q: I see them in stores for under $50 (Black and Decker or Bissell brands, for example). Just interfering if they are worth the money if I have pet stains to worry about or if I should just rent a Rug Surgeon from the store.
Anyone have any firsthand experience with handheld steam cleaners? Thanks!

A: Be chary with purchasing steam cleaners especially handheld ones. Most of them don't get hot enough and need a cleaner other to them which can leave a residue behind in the material being cleaned. Leaving a residue behind can pull dirt making spots reappear. Another concern with handhelds is that the vacuum power behind them is not around strong enough to extract stains from denser materials.
Renting a Rug Medical doctor is going to be better but keep in mind the soaps and shampoos they offer with them can also something goodbye behind a residue. I found that instead of using the shampoo that comes with the Rug Doctor using Woolite Construction wash works better. Just make sure after you good the material go over it one more time with plain water to rinse it.
