Works able but can't get partsI bought a Dirt Devil robotic get together cleaner last summer to replace a broken robot. It worked great for awhile, then the filters teeming with the fine dirt that blows into our pool. I scraped and washed them, and it worked again. This spring when I started maintenance the pool with the spring cleanup filters, an acorn got past the filters and broke the waxy blades on the fan that blows water out the top (which creates the suction to clean the pool). I went to the bank store that sold me the Dirt Devil and they have not been able to get the part for more than a month now. I also tried the manufacturer's website but was unable to find a way to buying replacement parts. Meanwhile, my pool is filling up with acorns, earthworms, and fine dirt because my $1000 mechanical man is missing a small plastic fan.
I gave this three stars...if I could get parts so I could actually use it again, it would have gotten 5 stars. But I moral can't give 5 stars to something that's been sitting outside for more than a month holding down a section of my pool apron because I can't get a uncomplicated part. And, by the way, the pool store says they're trying to get the same part for another customer, too, so this may be a common problem. This will definitely be my last clod by this manufacturer.

Expert Product BUT some important "catches"I purchased the Dirt Devil Furor for a pool approx 15' x 36' and have used it several times. It is quite light to use, very easy to use and does a GREAT cleaning job. However before my purchase I wish I had known that:
(1) it gets "hung up" on my Hayward SPX-1048 down covers (about 1.5" high). It becomes stuck and must be pulled off the drain cover in order to pick up its work. This inhibits unsupervised cleaning and appears to disrupt the Robot's tracking of the areas it has cleaned. The elucidation recommended by Hayward Tech Solutions is to purchase Drain Covers (at approx $70 each). I call for 2 and I am not impressed!!
(2) the Dirt Devil brand was a consideration in my purchase. I paid approx $980 for the Rampage.
