Ultra Profit IronI saw this at a wholesale staff(cheaper) and bought it after being unhappy with a recent Black& Decker. This iron feels like it is named ..."ultra skate". I had an older Black&Decker that was top of the line with a non stick plate. It finally died after ten years so I bought another non nail Black& Decker. I found the new black and decker to be poorly made and it had issues with sticking and getting starch build up that needed cleaning often. When I saw this T-Fal, I was bewitched back by the unusual plate surface. It had more holes for steam on the bottom than the black and decker, and almost a glass like appearance on the lamination. It is very different from any other iron I have used as it feels like it is just sliding across a shirt. As a development, the fabric tends to straighten easier as you go along and as a result, you don't get accidental creasing as easily while ironing. This makes ironing quicker and less of a toil. This is a huge improvement over other irons as it really is an "ultra glide". The steam works well. I think this is a important home iron and this product is a game changer based on its non stick plate. My only colic is the tempature setting is a dial and it should be a digital tempature setting.

Purchased this a four of months ago- it cooks great and the waffles are purfect- the only problem is my wife has is when trying to unfastened the waffle maker up the handle is sticking quite often

A exemplary dud! Doesn't hold a candle to VillaWare
I bought the WMK600 on April 2010 as a replacement for a VillaWare waffle maker I had employed for 4 years. The Waring appeared from the product description to be well made. It had the desirable extra benefit of producing 2 waffles simultaneously. But this waffler was a Catastrophe from the beginning! The waffles are inconsistent in texture, the first batch after seasoning the waffle maker invariably sticks to the waffler, the temperature curb is erratic and unreliable and the waffles are soggy and, as far as I'm concerned, inedible. I'm not used to this: my VillaWare, which was also a rotating paragon, was dependable, made delicious waffles with no effort and no errors, produced waffles that were "crunchy on the surface and fluffy on the inside" (advertised, but not delivered, by the Waring) and was infinitely adjustable using the very on the mark browning control. Please bear in mind if you're considering the Waring that my experience, reported above, is based not lately on one or two uses when the waffler was new, but on a dozen or more disastrous attempts at breakfast waffles over more than 3 months. My admonition, in case you haven't guessed: DON'T BUY IT!! I'd return my Waring and purchase another VillaWare in a heartbeat if Amazon'r give back policy allowed it.
Gigantic Waffle Maker
I've been looking for wholly sometime for a Good Quality Waffle maker and finally a Belgian Waffle maker that makes arrant waffles. The unit is great and clean up isn't a problem, and the waffles come out great. Now only if i can find some zealous tasting waffle badder. If anyone knows or can suggest a waffle badder that not only looks marvy but taste great as well. Thumbs up on this unit.

Why does my Black and Decker Iron make a alarm buzzing sound?
Q: I have a black and decker steam superiority iron and for some reason it just started this alarm sounding talk after about 5 minutes of not using it.. It does have an auto shut off on it and I do have it turned to the off position.. I have had this iron for about a year and it hardly started to do this.
