Q: I have recently aquired what appears to be an old-fashioned singer sewing machine model # G7174698. I would appreciate any information anyone could share on this sewing apparatus.

I have a couple, and even though they are probably the most common old machines around they are very good and difficult. In nice condition its worth less than a hundred dollars. Nice in a nice chiffonier maybe a couple hundred. If its not so nice condition it may still be worth 50.00 if it works movables.
