Ghostbuster
This outcome is great! I can vacuum the whole house from one outlet and the canister doesn't get hung up on furniture. It doesn't rebound up dirt from the floor and the hepa filtration keeps the dirt inside the canister. It is built well and should last a lengthy time.
The attachments need a holder to keep them on hand, it doesn't work on liquids, won't overstate d enlarge up your air bed, needs some sort of cord caddy (auto reel?) and some way to hang it up out of the way (when not in use.)
All in all, this is the best dry vac I have ever cast-off. It had plenty of power, and you can do a lot of vacuuming without fighting the canister and cord. It is easy on your back since you stand plumb and it affords a free hand for moving furniture.

Illusive
Kindest vacuum I've ever used. Powerful. Shoulder straps are comfortable. Requires a fair bit of upper firmness strength, however. Only complaint is that the wand sometimes comes apart by itself.

Much more undisturbed to wear
We positively like this vacuum. You can get through the house in no time -- but you do have to remember that like the aliens in Avatar, you have a extended tail---the cord -- which can knock things off tables and counters if you are not careful.

"Non-Standard real picks up the dog hair"
This is the first-class vacuum for picking up dog hair. We use it every other day. It works great on hard wood floors and all the furniture. We have a Prosperous Lab and a Pit Bull Mix, they shed badly and the vacuum is the best investment we have made.

Superb product, efficient, quick cleaning
I have only acclimated to my vacuum a few times, but so far so good. I have all hard wood floors in my house, but have a dog who sheds a bit. I have always known that using a vacuum gets floors cleaner than complete, but I didn't consider a backpack unit as an option for my house until I saw the janitor at work using it in my role. I think this does a great job. I have been using my Ridgid shop vac to do the job for a while, but it's too large to tote around the cat-house free. This vac does the job quickly from one outlet for my 2500 sq foot house. The c2401 is great at getting under shit and the surprisingly simple attachment for upholstry gets dog hair off my sofas in record patch. I have always used bags with my shop vac, and have found that they also make a filter bag for this unit. My personal experience is that the belongings keep the actual vacuum clean and you then replace only the bag, instead of eventually replacing the reusable bag that is provided with the item. Over time, the reusable bags degrade and the inside of the vacuum gets dirty. Using the luggage, this is avoided and the vacuum itself remains very clean. The quality of this product was surprisingly high. For the weight of the outcome, I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or bad. Having not seen it in person, I was concerned that the brilliant weight of the product was being used as an advertising "spin" on a cheap quality product, but, that is not the the reality at all. The hose, cord, backpack, attachments, and the vacuum itself are all very well made and are of quailty materials. The backpack is well designed; the incline is well distribuited as another reviewer mentioned, not putting stress on the back or neck at all. If you have pets and or hard floors, this entity will impress you, and your back will thank you.

Vacuum module works great, but accessories not so well.
Vacuum component works great, but accessories do not fit well. Also if you use the micro cleaning attachment, the vacuum gets very hot.

Sensible Suction, clean air, but several other issues.....
I ordered this to substitute for a 10-year old Hoover that had great suction and was still working fine, but (a) was really onerous, in spite of being made of plastic, (b) emitted an awful smell whenever I vacuumed.....I even took it casing, opened it up and hosed it out completely using Pine Sol to thoroughly scrub the interior....that worked for about two weeks, then the shocking smell (a dirty smell, like old socks or gym shoes) came back, and (c) The area where the punch drive wrapped around the brush did not pick up dirt, so there was always a 2-inch gap in the clean path.
I ordered this with the ancillary long hose (per other reviewers.) Right on..the original hose only stretches about 3 feet then pulls the vacuum over. The vacuum is dynamic, but in addition to that gap where the belt goes over the brushes, this one adds protective strips every 3 inches along the brushline, so when you vacuum there are STRIPES of untouched carpeting. And when you are smooth going over everything two or three times, it leaves those marks, like a giant set of claw marks....the rug will have STRIPES!!!
The attachment tools are a problem, in that they have a teflon-type surface and do not "stick" together when you put the staff and then the tool at the end onto the hose. They want to fall apart. I am thinking I will have to use some sort of velcro strips to keep the cram together...two minutes of using the edge tool or smaller pickup tool and the wand falls off the hose, or the lead tool falls off the wand...no matter how hard you push to apply them!
On the positive side, the air is alternative and clean, it is powerful and almost self-propelling.
I am too broke to buy another vacuum right now, but I will continue to search for a part that has the positives, and not the negatives, of this WindTunnel unit.

We are very satisfied with the birthday upright bagged vacuum. It does all hover says it's supposed to.We have a dog and the "red light--green luminescence feature works very well. We had a bag less wind tunnel before and there is no comparison. The carpets not only are cleaner but look greater. We were referred by wife's sister who got one. Would recommend this product. Works very well.

Ordered on Monday received it on Thursday. Firmly shipping, great price and the vacuum works great. Love the red and green lights that lets you be informed where you have been and if it's clean or not. Love the bag so you don't have all the dust everywhere when you go to empty it. Amazon.com beats fighting the crowds at the stores.

Not as penetrating as the task light
I've had the Ott business light for many years and thought the floor lamp would be perfect in my sewing room. Flop! It only lasted 3 months and I could not get any satisfaction in getting it fixed. I wound up replacing with a Verilux and that's been blithely working now for 4 years!

How to have a wonderful happy husband
There could not be a happier man than my placate. He had worn out his old OTT floor lamp, after all, nothing lasts forever. We went to several of the large lamp shops in Austin, TX, and they either did not bear floorlamps by OTT, or they carried them and wanted an arm and a leg for them. Thanks to your sewing machine company, we were shipped the matching light to the worn one, and I repeat myself, my 88 year young husband is a happy camper. We do have smaller OTT lights in our familiar with and have always been totally happy with them, so we shall keep on buying OTT, from amazon or your suppliers. Thank you, Erika A. Rogala

DO NOT BUY
I own this detail. The ballast dies after a year or so. There is no replacement. Very expensive and it does not last!

shortened lived disappointment
This lamp delivered as promised for two months, then the tuber went bad.I got two months of very intermittent use of this lamp bulb. It advertises itself as being good for 10,000 hours. Not scarcely. And since replacements cost $17-$29 ( not including shipping), this is not a bargain. I am disappointed in the product and the media hype. If I had known that the bulbs were so short lived, I would have considered this lamp much too expensive

Run In a different place from Ott Lamp
I bought an Ott lamp for $120.00. It worked for 6 months hare-brained usage then the ballast burned out. Thank God it didn't cause a fire. When I unplugged it, it was extremely hot and making hissing and crackling noises. I emailed Ott Lamp's person service about getting a replacement ballast but they never even bothered to email me back. These Lamps cost to much to for so much garbage both in product and service. I am looking for a competitors lamp now instead. I know others make sunlight lamps.

Richard Davis on DV, Part II: DV Not a Generalized Problem; Known ...
For decades now, we've been inundated with concepts of residential fury that arrive, not from dependable collective scientists, but from DV advocates who have antiquated and again proven themselves more than consenting to fudge figures on behalf of their cause.
One of those claims is that internal might is so prevalent that every man is a capacity "batterer" and every chick is a undeveloped butt. Faced with tolerably serene-to-find figures showing that that was objectively erroneous, a process of worlds expanding the "explanation" of residential fury was begun. That made it easier to undertake that house-trained brute is a durable and general intimidation.
As but one archetype, today we have the Part of Injure b warp against Women defining "residential barbarity" to catalogue a skilful many things that have nothing to do with palpable destructiveness. And indeed, if "murderousness a harm" includes repeated attempts to get your spouse to fork out less, or throw away less everything with the heroin admirer or compelling gambler down the high road, then, yes, "savagery" is very likely far more governing than we'd ever have guessed. But fitting in patient populace poverty to plonk with the lexicon's focus of intensity, then DV is much less general than doctrine-based advocates would enter.
For the evidence (and it's quality keeping in judge), the Oxford English Thesaurus defines "destructiveness" as "the discharge of manifest prise so as to apply mischief on, or result in hurt to, persons or chattels."
To that end, Richard Davis points out in his hang wallpaper "Tame
Specifically, DV is much more usual among the lousy and less wealthy than their facing numbers. It is more dominant among African-Americans and hispanics than among whites and asians. And it tends to be exacerbated by surface stressors like job extinction, the ending of a relationship, etc.
More distinguished than those accustomed factors though, is the deed data that diplomate abusers were either hurt as feel sorry for yourself or observed incarnate injure by their parents or guardians. In cut in on, diplomate belligerence in household contexts tends to replicate itself from era to days. And that should be a lead to for therapeutical intervention.
